Rates:  US $44.00 to US $88.00 inclusive of Hotel Tax 

per person or couple per night. 

Additional adults are US $15.00 inclusive of Hotel Tax per night. 

Children (2 Years to Under 12 years) are US $8.00 inclusive of Hotel Tax.

Children under 2 Years stay for free.

Advance Booking: For stays up to 7 nights, a 50% advance payment is required upfront, and for stays longer than 7 nights, the same applies. The remaining 50% balance will be due before or on arrival.

Check-In: Check-in time begins at 2:00 pm. Checkout time is 12:00 pm. 

Ask about our flexible check-in time! We are happy to welcome you at a time that is convenient to you.

Reservations and Confirmations: Please note, reservations cannot be guaranteed until we have confirmed availability and received your advance booking or deposit payment.

To enjoy the fullest and most immersive experience of Charlotteville, we recommend at least a three or four-night stay at The Cholson Chalets. However, we welcome reservations from guests wanting shorter stays.

Deposits and Payment: A non-refundable advance deposit, amounting to 50% of the total cost of your stay, is required to confirm your reservation. Payment of the balance is due 14 – 25 days before arrival and depending on the date/time of the initial deposit. Miscellaneous charges are due upon arrival in cash.

In special circumstances, we accept deposits up to 7 days before stay and the balance payment right before arrival.

Failure to submit payments expeditiously can result in cancellation without further notice.

Late bookings are NON-REFUNDABLE after the direct or electronic bank deposit has been processed.

Deposits are non-refundable but VALID for a rescheduled stay.

Cancellation Policy: Because of our unique location and the fact that we are a small, family-run resort, cancellations affect us tremendously. A last-minute cancellation gives us limited time to re-book our specialty suites and budget apartments. For these reasons, we must impose a strict cancellation policy.

Payment & Cancellation Policies

• • High Season 2021 (Nov. 23rd to Dec. 22nd): All bookings must be paid in full 7 days before guest’s date of arrival. For cancellations requests made 6 to 0 days before guest’s arrival date, 100% penalty will be applied.
  • Peak (2021) & High Season (2022): Dec. 23rd 2021 to April 30th, 2022: All bookings must be paid in full 14 – 25 days before guest’s date of arrival. For cancellations requests made 14 to 0 days before guest’s arrival date, 100% penalty will be applied.
  • Green Season 2021 (May 1st to Oct. 31st): All booking must be paid in full 7 days before guest’s date of arrival. For cancellations requests made 6 to 0 days before guest’s arrival date, 100% penalty will be applied.
  • No-Show and/or un-used room nights, and/or early check-outs are not refundable regardless of the season.
  • Cancellations must be made in writing and sent by email to cholsonchaletsltd@yahoo.com and all cancellations must be confirmed as received by Cholson Chalets staff to be considered valid. Payments not received on time are subject to immediate cancellation without further notice and with no exceptions.

Smoking: Smoking is prohibited in the suites and apartments, but is allowed in the open courtyard/patio.

Pets: Pets are not allowed at The Cholson Chalets.

Force Majeure Clause: The Cholson Chalets is exempted from liability for the failure to execute arrangements specified herein that are directly or indirectly caused by or in consequence of any conditions beyond human control such as disasters caused by natural, man-made and technological hazards. The option to rebook is subject to availability.

Responsibility: The Cholson Chalets assumes no responsibility for injury, loss or damage to person or property in connection with any service resulting directly from natural, man-made or technological disasters, legal detention, civil disturbances, government restrictions or regulations, discrepancies, or adjustments in flights or travel arrangements.

Privacy and Security: Cholson Chalets Limited will not share with third parties the information entered into its website during the reservation or payment process.
