The Cholson Chalets & Charlotteville, Tobago
In 1997, The Cholson Chalets won the Caribbean Tourism Day Quality Award for Best Small Property. Since then The Chalets have been judged “Best Small Hotel in Tobago” five times by the Tourism Division of the Tobago House of Assembly. Our award-winning property was filmed by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in November 2002 and was featured on the BBC.1 and BBC World Holiday Programmes in January and February 2003, 2004.
The Cholson Chalets in Charlotteville are visited by guests from all over the world but are a favourite with European holidaymakers. Charlotteville itself is a romantic fishing village spectacularly situated on the shores of the Caribbean Sea and at the foot of the majestic Main Ridge mountains — the oldest declared Rainforest reserve in the world — since 1776. Our location is a photographer’s haven, and the Chalets offer the ultimate eco-luxury experience to travellers eager for Tobago beachfront accommodation that offers a blissful balance between rustic and chic, full-service and self-catered, relaxation and adventure. Visit our Things to Do Around Charlotteville page for more.
The Cholson Chalets offer guests the quintessential beachfront experience — with a side of quaint. Our antique two-storied chalets boast many of the original architectural details like varnished wooden floors, Colonial-style windows, four-poster beds, and Classic Caribbean wooden fretwork.
Ten short steps to Man of War Bay, guests enjoy the surround sound of waves over the pebble beach, the coolness of the ocean breeze, and views of the mountains in the north and the alcove of beaches in the south. Enjoy a laidback retreat while wrapped in rustic charm at The Cholson Chalets. Enjoy our testimonials and view our full gallery.
